“Sometimes on the way to a dream you get lost and find a better one.”
Lost is only a concept. Something conceived or felt within the perceptions of a moment, much like looking at a plant and deciding it is a weed. A weed is simply a plant growing some place unwanted or unexpected. Ironically, in some circles they are referred to as volunteers. Completely different connotation, in my opinion! Personally, I am excited for the tomato plant volunteers that show up in my garden in early spring! So, the notion of getting lost and find a better dream becomes interesting, because it is ambiguous rather than definitive but also deeply affecting for the experiencer. It can be, and is often, transformative, even pivotal for a person. It could be the difference between mediocracy, mundane, and extraordinary. Perhaps the only way to find that new dream was to take the path you did, and perhaps that was the point, all along! There’s no way to know for sure, no absolutes. However, if it’s just a matter of perspective hinging the difference between feeling ill versus invigoration, sign me up for the attitude adjustment! I’m there! If all roads lead to I, the BIG me, eventually, then why not strap in and enjoy the ride? Perhaps that was the plan all along, by any means or dreams necessary, DISCOVER who and what WE are. Just because you don’t know where you are, it doesn’t mean you aren’t headed somewhere, and just because you don’t know the way doesn’t mean you won’t get there. Be easy, travel light!
On this day, I will set down my baggage, my luggage, and look at the contents to make sure that there isn’t something within weighing me down. I will then take my map, or atlas, and tear it up, and then burn it for good measure. NAMASTE! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
