“Always believe something wonderful is about to happen”
DIVO-tional...
What better time to practice this little nugget than when EVERYTHING appears to be falling apart? I do not deign to believe I know more than anyone else, however time and time again has shown me that more will always be revealed, and if I make space for it, new and exciting things can flow in. Likewise, if I make space for them, unpleasantries can and will snuggle right up too; it’s complicated. Shame and blame have been the game for a long time, and it’s hard to put it down, especially when personal perspectives give us an acute sense of rightness, because we “saw” or “felt” it. However what we see, feel, and ultimately perceive/experience can vary greatly depending on a multitude of formative aspects over the years. When was the last time that we observed or even cleaned up our perceivers, the windows to our consciousness, so to speak? Asking, do I even KNOW how to do that?
Set a couple minutes aside today and try to observe thoughts, perceptions, and feelings as they relate(d) to your day’s experiences.
If you could recognize It as a CHOICE to experience things positively or negatively, why would you EVER go with the latter? 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
