Literally, it costs you nothing to care about someone else and to show it. The requirement is simple: be you, be authentic, relate! That doesn’t mean you do that for every one, although if you could, why wouldn’t you? If it was in your power, why not? This is all about showing up and being present, which in and of itself, only requires a mindful focus. When you are tuned into being who you are, your light shines bright and is easy to share and communicate, not through action, but rather the ease of being who you are. Not playing a role, not hitting all the check marks, and most of all NOT out of obligation and principle, but rather a genuine love of self, life, and others. Societal structure, upbringing, and the dogmatic approach to many professions may make us feel unqualified to be there for people in their time of need. However there is one thing we all have in common, and it ties us all together at the deepest level; we are all humans and expressions of our consciousness into this physical body and experience. So if the positivity of your expression and experiences can brighten someone whose days are a bit cloudy and dark, why wouldn’t you be the best candidate, as at the deepest level, we are one and the same. It just may not look the same on the outside at the level of facets, refraction, and preference!
On this day, I will recognize my complete qualification as a human being that is capable of empathy to assist myself and others through times that are trying. I will acknowledge the role I play requires nothing of me except to be pure in my expression of self, however that may manifest. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
